Algebra
Course Description
Algebra is a transition between arithmetic and high-level mathematics classes. It is a pre-requisite for all math courses that follow in high school. Successful completion of Algebra while in grade eight gives the student a head start in their high school math education. Students will be introduced to real numbers, their relationships and operations upon them. Students will learn how to simplify expressions, solve and graph equations, inequalities and systems. Students will also learn special products and factoring, operations on polynomials, and various problem-solving techniques. Course Information
